How node status is interpreted

The monitor tests each endpoint with a lightweight blockchain RPC request and compares response speed, returned block height, and overall availability. A fast response does not always mean a node is fully synced, so status is based on both responsiveness and the parsed height returned by the endpoint.

Healthy

The node responded successfully, returned a valid latest block value, and appears usable for normal wallet, dApp, or trading activity.

Pending

The check is still running, the endpoint is slow to answer, or the result needs another pass before it can be classified as healthy or failed.

Error

The endpoint timed out, rejected the request, returned invalid data, or appears unavailable from the browser at the time of testing.

Block height and latency

Lower latency usually means a faster endpoint, while a lagging latest block can indicate a stale or partially synced node even if it still answers requests.

Why does RPC Node Latency matter?
Latency determines how fast your wallet or app can read blockchain state and send transactions. Lower latency reduces failed DEX swaps, prevents front-running, and ensures faster wallet balance syncing.
How are RPC health and block heights calculated?
Our tool sends real-time client-side requests (such as eth_blockNumber, getSlot, or equivalent methods) over HTTPS and WebSockets (wss://) to test responsiveness, latency, and synchronization height.
Can I test private or custom endpoints?
Yes. Use the custom RPC URL field to test private endpoints, local developer nodes, or dedicated node provider links (Alchemy, Infura, QuickNode, etc.).
